Job Description

We are interviewing candidates for an associate attorney position to work on a wide variety of cases, including those brought to enforce anti-discrimination laws, wage and hour and equal pay laws, and whistleblower protection and anti-retaliation laws. 

Associates can expect to work on cases of varied subject matter in state and federal courts and alternative dispute resolution forums.  Associates work closely with partners, but they are afforded responsibility for their cases and significant opportunities to appear in court and before arbitrators.  We value our collegial and collaborative work environment.  

We offer flexibility and the opportunity for advancement and for attorneys to develop their own cases, practices, and professional identities.  The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 and is commensurate with experience.  The firm offers a complete benefits package.  One to four-plus years of practice and/or clerkship experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Applicants preferably have at least one year of practical legal experience.
• Clerkship experience is valued, but not required.
• Applicants must have excellent legal advocacy and writing skills and must be able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Applicants with a strong commitment to employee advocacy or a public interest background preferred.
