Sam Leff

Sam Leff joined Rudy, Exelrod, Zieff & Lowe, LLP in 2025. Previously, he worked as a Field Attorney at the National Labor Relations Board and clerked for the Honorable Bruce J. McGiverin (Ret.) in the District of Puerto Rico.

Sam began his workers’ rights advocacy in law school, when he volunteered with Legal Aid at Work’s Workers’ Rights Clinic. There, he represented clients before the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board and advised workers on a wide range of employment issues. Further, as part of the UCI Law Immigrant Rights Clinic, he negotiated wage claim settlements on behalf of immigrant workers. He additionally worked as a Law Clerk with the Federal Defenders of San Diego.

Prior to law school, Sam served in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic, where he taught in a rural elementary school and managed the funding and reconstruction of a local youth sports facility. He is fluent in Spanish.

Sam graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in politics and UC Irvine School of Law.
